- In this project, we are investigating how people make decisions balancing risk, reward and effort in continuous and embodied decision-making in naturalistic environments.

- Started as a collaboration from DISI, we are building an agent-based model to study how collective opinions along with 1:1 interactions shape belief updates and group-level polarization. We are simulating the ways in which the influence of collective opinions (in terms of definition, perception, strength) can be different from interpersonal influences and testing their consequences.
- Emergence of human collaborative foraging. w/ Dr. Cecilia Padilla-Iglesias from University of Tubingen.
- Cecilia and I are testing the various ecological (e.g., risk, resource availability) and social factors (e.g. reciprocal sharing, group size ) that could have led to the emergence of central-place foraging in human evolution. This work is funded by an early career grant from the Diverse Intelligence Summer Institute.
